V8 oil pan removal.....

So my right diff mount broke, destroyed lower oil pan and cv axle. I have the lower pan off,but the lip is broken on the upper pan. Is this able to be removed without pulling the engine? Toyota says pull the engine. Anyone done it?!

Dont think so. Above the oil pan is the block which has all the the internals.

Maybe a way to fix the upper lip w/o taking it off? How does it look from a pic?

there is an upper and lower pan. I have the lower off, need to know if the upper will come off without pulling the motor.
I am not sure if i have all the upper broken pieces yet,i was going to epoxy them back in good and flat and roll on with it.
