upper ball joints
tore the rubber boots on the upper ball joints installing leveling kit.
looks like 4th gen ball joints are welded into the UCA. does anyone know if the boot is replacable?

most likely a uca replacement is in order.check with dealer for boots.if not avail.replace uca before you have that alignment done.almost a positive no on boots though

boot replacement
the boots are replacable by themselves. the parts guy at Toyota had to check twice but found them. they are 15.00 per side. comes with grease!

you might also be able to find "universal" ball joint boots through the aftermarket, but there's no telling how well they'll fit and last. If they are available through Toyota, it's best to go that route

Boot's,Dang.I did the same to my lowers pretty much the same way.Lift spacers.Been worried bad for a few days $$$$$.Hope they have them for the bottoms too.

Sorry to hijack but if I need new ball joints in my 03 4R do I need new Control Arms? Has anyone replaced the joints only. I know my 92 you could just replace the ball joints
