hey guys newbie here. 2 weeks ago I bought an sr5 4wd 4runner and I'm ready to start modding. i realy like the look of the TRD black FJ wheels will they fit an 07 4runner? they are 16x7.5 with 4.5" back spacing. they should fit right? I've seen them on tacos too but not on 4runners yet. if anyone has a pic of these wheels on a late model 4runner please post it. i have already read the sticky very good info there. it looks like the OME lift is the way to go for me, lift will come later in the summer. below are the wheels I'm talking about.

 

Those wheels look pimp, and so does that tacoma

Those wheels should fit on your 4runner. Im assuming the 4runners have the same calipers as the tacomas so if they clear one they should clear the other.

 

That guy is running 285/75/16 Pro Comp Mudders and a 3" lift with those wheels. He said no wheel spacers, but surely there was some minor trimming of the fender plastic. Not sure what your stock wheels and tires are on that Runner, but for the Taco Sport they are 265/65/17. Assuming no difference in Caliper size, you should be able to run those wheels with 265/75/16 and no lift, or go a bit bigger with the lift.

 

as long as you are not a sport edition or limited you can run 16 inch wheels, thats my knowledge of the 4th gens

4th Gen. tires stock on a 06 4Runner Sport is the 265/70/17, however how big can you go on the sport without any trimming or rubbing?
