From Show & Tell to No & Tell

I figured it was time for a change. Instead of advertising my mods, and having folks point, I decided go undercover. De-badged and stickers removed (except one, Carbon fiber TRD badge) If people want to know; they'll have to ask.

Ok, let's hear it!

I still see stickers on your rear windows...

Looks better without them for sure.

looks a lot better. Does that make it easier to go get the groceries now?

I'm just kidding !

I don't understand why people put up stickers anyways, unless your vehicle looks extremely modified.

You just have tires/wheels and a rack. I know there is more, but I'm just pointing out first glance if I saw you driving down the street.

Nice rig I'd DD it.

Looks much better

The only sticker I put on was a marlin sticker to hide a crack in my dash
The others are nra stickers from the previous owner, which is fitting so they got to stay.

That's a clean truck!

And a clean, unscuffed shovel!

i think it's the simulated beadlocks and the road tire combo .... just confusing.

I like the rims, but your tires seem 'bubbly'? too round? If you had some more aggressive a/t's It would complete the look of your truck.

I think that's the only thing that's bothering me.

You had some good stickers. Would have been better on the glass though.

So, I guess you're an "Authority" on street racing as well as off-roading?
Just because a trucks not SAS's and lifted with super swampers you think all we do is hop curbs at the Starbucks. There's been alot more done, with alot less. STOCK Range Rovers have been competing in the Winston Around the World Race for decades. There's alot to be said for driving skill. My purpose for this vehicle is to be able to travel where others cannot. Whether it's a 14" snow storm in Chicago or a muddy backroad in Missouri. Besides, who street races in a truck?

Although who can't resist hopping curbs? It's about the only off-roading we get here in IL. LOL! Yeah, we have the Badlands and Cliffs but it's sad that Illinois DNR doesn't have any SUV trails. All the grant money goes to ATV parks.

Yeah right, we have to be creative in order to get in the dirt.

slow your roll, your panties are bunching.

I just stated what it looks like. You agreed by saying you were getting more aggressive looking tires.

I didn't make you post up in here and ask people's opinions. I did give mine freely, which was positive in most ways.

I drag raced on pinks in Houston, Tx 2007.

I've owned a few Land Rovers and overland vehicles.

I'm currently converting this truck I have now to that. It was purchased with swampers because the PO liked mud.

I can drive through 12" of snow also. If I aired down i'd have a much larger foot print than you to crawl over it. Plus I'm lighter.

Don't get angry with me because you took my opinion the wrong way.

That's at the Badlands in Attica, IN. We get up there 2-3 times a year at least. It's about 2 - 2.5 hours from Chicago.

[hijack on]

Not sure. Do you know when it is? I've never wheeled in the winter and I would think frozen mud and trails would suck. If it's anything like the weather we are having now though, I would definitely be in. How about you? It would be nice to get a group together. I mean one that would show up, of course
