I'll just be running the rear Revteks with my SAWs ... really the only other available options would be Doetsch, BDS ... maybe Rancho?
They don't really have any that they "recommend" because not many companies have made any compatible shocks for the 4th gen. yet.

ooooh, not the rancho word.
thought about the dtechs or bilsteins. thought i'd ask, because some companies might recommend something such as downey.
donahoe rears may not show up until summer if we're lucky, but they will have their new '05 tacoma rears out in april i think.
thanks rocky

well, there aren't any bilsteins out that would work on our trucks ... i checked this with multiple people at different shops ...
and yeah, if you buy downey coils, they recommend using them with the dtechs ... possibly because the dtechs are really the only ones out there that will work with our trucks!
but you're right, stuff should be coming out for the '05 taco soon ... let's keep our fingers crossed!!

Donahoe includes sway bar relocate hardware. This moves the factory sway bar forward to accommodate for the larger diameter springs. They also have a longer foot on the bottom of the shock. There is a lot more clearance for the drive shaft than the SAW.

I just had reply. We had a 2005 Taco in the shop last night and were running through a mock installation of the DR's and fit and measure for stainless brake lines, rear 5100's, and performance rotors.

This is the entire reason I went back to stock 2.5" coils. Lower spring rates with larger coils.
That really does not matter anymore.

The old style 3rd gen SAW's did have 2.5" coils mounted on 2.0" shock bodies. SAW now offer's a 3rd gen 3.0" coil on a 2.5" body exclusivley through Camburg.
Most high-end 2" shocks use 2.5" coils and 2.5" shocks use 3" coils FWIW...

Well, when I shipped it off, I had it in this bag from Target ... and apparently candy had been in the bag, so the people at the shipping place said "This smells like candy!" and I said, "What, don't ALL airboxes smell like candy?!" So, we'll see. It was supposed to get there today, so let me know when you receive it.
