Runners. Need Pic's and spec's.

Well I tried running a search to see if this has been done before and it doesn't look like it has. So, those of you with a slightly modified runner, could you please post a pic and the spec's of lift and size of wheels and any trouble that you may have had.

Reason I ask, looking at getting the wife a new 4runner, and I just can't leave anything stock. So need some different idea's of what everybody has done.

I know you are looking for a 4th gen, but here are pics of my 3rd gen.

All the work done is in my sig, or on my buildup thread. I would also go under community, and user profiles, there are many different models of runners and trucks there, and nearly everyone lists the mods they have done.

I really don't think there are any lifted 4th gens yet....

serious, search and look here:

These two links below are a good start for you to find the information you need. Everything you ask is well covered and it should give you some lengthly reading. There is soo much information that trying to rehash and posting it here would be very difficult. There are many applications ranging from the simple spacer to the bling bling coilovers. Search for "4th" and some combination of "lift" or whatever should give you LOTS of info. Heck, I just did a search for "4th lift" and got almost everything you're looking for. Give a good try and have fun.

Make sure you have some time to read as it's a lot of details.

Good luck

Here is my 4th generation. Downey 3" lift, 285 70/17 on M/T rims, light bar w/4 lightforce 170's, sirus radio, and billet front grille. I have ordered sliders from sonoran steel and will be installing Downey headers and new exhaust next week.
