Rear end diff housing and axle totaled

I took a direct shot (collision) to the drivers side rear wheel Saturday night and just viewed my bent diff tube (housing), axle, & rotor - all needs replacing. The mechanic is looking for a similar mileage replacement unit with all of the guts for my '03 4 runner, I wondered if any other axles (tacoma, '02 4runners, etc.) would work on my '03. I would imagine it's hard to locate one of these units. Otherwise - it's a totally new replacement and I'll take suggestions on where to go to purchase the unit new if anyone has any advice. (I'm in North Mississippi)

a similar generation 4Runner will be your best bet. A Tacoma axle will work but you will looking at fabbing up different mounts-taco uses Leaf Spring, your 4Runner has coils.
It actually should not be too bad to find one...
