I have the 6 speaker w/ the 6disc changer, but my window sticker says nothing about jbl. How do I know if thats what it is? It sounds good, but I wanna get new speakers from Crutchfield and they ask for JBL or non jbl. Tried search but no help.

Mine says JBL on the head unit and the speaker covers.

i thought the same thing also but mine says nothing either said it in the book with the sport package and i bought it new, but i guess it was a special order thing. then i changed out the head unit to a pioneer, popped the stock speakers out and they werent jbl..they were some made in mexico . now i have the head unit and all new polk audio speakers and a taco tunes 10" sub behind the seat and it sounds twice as nice. 6x9s in front doors, 6.5s the the rear

 

JBL in the tacoma is 7 speaker btw.. a sub is behind the passenger side rear seat...
