Greetings:

My wife had an 04 4Runner new in 10/2003 and never had a problem with it. The truck has been maintained by the dealer for 15k and 30k. She decide to give it to her nephew a certified ASE (I think) mechanic to perform a 45k service (the truck actual mileage is 47k) a couple days ago. Today she just call me on the phone, told me that the truck has the Oil temp light on and it move backward while in D position. Her problem is resolved (oil temp off and move foreward in D), after shutting off the engine for a couple minute. Could this be just a coincidence? What could have done or what could cause this behavior?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
