Thought I would start a specific thread for anyone to post their repair solutions to the loose seat issue. I bought a very gently used '03 Sport Edition with the manual seats, and I have the loose seat syndrome -- mine feels like it rocks from the left front to the right rear, almost like one or the other side has lost a bolt or something. I didn't notice it when I bought it because once in a while in just the right adjustment it doesn't wiggle.

Unfortunately, I bought it out of warranty, so getting the dealer to fix or replace is not an option. Besides the $1200 for the new assembly, mine has aftermarket leather which would require some labor to remove and reinstall.

So if anyone has found some fixes that work, preferably economical and DIY, can you post 'em up here?

Don't know how tall you are, but I'm 6'5".. I have my manual seat lowered front and rear all the way down. No shake.. I'm sure if I raised it up the shake would be there.. By the way when my wife drives it she leaves it lowered all the way and has no problems. (5'7")
Just a suggestion. My 03 had almost 60,000 on it when I bought it..
