does anyone have trouble getting into 4 wheel low. i put it into 4 wheel low while i'm in neutral and it just blinks and beeps but nothing happens. i've done this since i bought the truck in 05 and now that i have put new wheels and tires on i'm really concerned about it. any one know what i might be doing wrong? its a 6 speed and i always put it in neutral when i switch it in.

 

Strange! I think you need to take it into the dealer and have it looked at.

 

Complete stop. Neutral, clutch in, switch to 4-LO, release clutch, then engage 2nd gear and start driving.

It should lock into LO range and not beep/blink.

 

Though mine is an auto, I have had some trouble in with 4lo as well. Usually when it just blinks, I drop it back into gear and roll it a bit, making sure my wheels are completely straight, and try it again. I've never had to do anything more, but it's still irritating, just give me a dang lever!
