Aux port on 05 Tacoma stock stereo?

Anybody have any idea if there is an accesable aux input in the stock stereos in the 05 Tacomas? I am looking for a hardwire input for either XM radio or an MP3 player. Is it somewhere I can access myself or do I need to visit and pay the car audio experts. The wireless FM transmitter signal just sucks. I only have a CD in the dash, no tape deck, so my options are limited. Any help?

I'm going to have to revive this thread and ask again what to do...I'm not too sure where to go on that link...
is there the red and white input connections, like on the back of a radio, somewhere back there, or is there more mod necessary than that???

You'll need to add something like the USASPEC pa12-toy. Crutchfield sells them. This allows you to control an IPOD or hook up AUX through RCA connectors. It plugs directly into the back of the stock radio. USASPEC also makes one that has 2 RCA inputs instead of the PA12-toy which has 1 RCA and the IPOD connector.

So I would be taking away either the CD or Radio capability and putting the new input in its place?

Thanks for the info, helps a load!

There is an un-used plug on the back of the stock radio. If you have the 6 disc changer built in, the stereo just looks at it like Disc 1. Don't lose anything else.
