i know ... i am so excited to get to drive my truck again!! but now i wonder what i will do once i'm done ... i won't be able to come home from school and work on my truck, because there won't be anything left to finish up!
i got the manual/s from http://techinfo.toyota.com/ ... you pay $10 for a day's use and can download as many of the repair pdfs as you want. i will probably eventually still buy the manuals, but for now when i just need to see the diagrams of a specific system, that site was a neat find!

i have one last question, guys. the revtek kit came with a bolt, a washer, and two little silver spacer tunnel things for the brake mount in the rear. now ... i removed the bolt so the line could be more free during installation, but now i am supposed to replace the old bolt with the new bolt/washer/spacer and i am uncertain as to how it is supposed to go. the directions just say "install bolt, washer, and spacer on brake line mount" but they don't say whether i am supposed to use both spacers, or in what order they are supposed to go on, or what.
does anyone know to what i'm referring??

Okay ... nevermind about the last question ...
I FINISHED!
AND, I talked to Victor and they seemed to be doing great! Apparently Lance was pretty quiet and still and ... just kidding, I hear he was a great help. Anyway - Victor said they had been taking a bunch of pictures - so, anyway, congratulations guys -- I'm so glad you had such great success!!

Biff, how do you know that you snapped one? You only did the front, right?
As far as I know, I didn't have any problems with my ABS lines. I took the truck out for a quick drive yesterday afternoon after I finished, and I didn't have any lights come on or anything ... so I think I'm okay, but ... I guess I dunno.

biff's pictures are a lot more informative than mine, and all of the same parts as mine were ... so i think i'll let theirs speak for both. i'm still working on the writeup though, and will put my pics along with that.
i cannot believe how much easier the rear was than the front ... i'm still in shock!

Well I can only assume that I snapped them because the lights are still on, even after I disconnected the battery, and connected and disconnect the abs sensor. The cost seems to be minimal, so I'll just chuck it up to an install mistake. 4route I still want to see some poser shots of your rig. I'm curious what are your measurements from the floor to the top of the wheel well. Also is your rig leveled?

yeah ... my rig seems leveled to me ... 3" in front, 2.5" in rear ... if it isn't exactly leveled, it is still a heck of a lot closer to being leveled than it was in stock form! yours looks great, Biff. i'm sorry about the ABS lines ... it is a common problem to have after the lift though, as i think i read multiple threads here on yotatech about people snapping them. it's easy to do because you can snap the internal wires without even realizing it or even visibly breaking anything. it shouldn't cost too much to get fixed ...

well, 6 hours as compared to the 10 or more I spent, total, doing mine. although i do admit that when i had to uninstall the front and then reinstall it, that only took 1.5 hours (as did the second side on the front) as opposed to the 6 hours it took me the first time trying to figure out how to get the strut out. i could probably do it in 4 hours if i had to do it again ...

What was your fender height front/rear before and after the lift?

Hey 4Route. We should go wheelin next Saturday to test out our new suspensions. Mine is almost done. Just one last ball spacer to replace and a new brake line. Maybe you could teach my fiance to appreciate toys a little more too. Love your rig, it looks great!
