Abs wheel sensor

The passenger side front wheel bearing assembly failed and as soon as I heard the crunching squeeling sound, the TRAC OFF, VSC, and ABS lights came on. Could the bearing destroy the ABS wheel sensor?
I've run through the posts on this matter but none of the threads mention anything about bearing failure. Any thoughts?

ABS sensor replaced.

I was able to find a wheel sensor on Ebay for $19.99, opposed to the $225.00 they wanted at the dealership. Napa etc. dont carry parts like that so they pointed me to the dealership. Good thing I checked elsewhere. The sensor needed to be forcefully removed with an easy-out after the main portion of the sensor broke off. All trouble lights were cleared after driving less than a block.
