I think I would rather it mount a little lower, but if you can make it vertically adjustable that would be cool.
Of course with all this adjustability it should be strong and stable.

Billy, where is a link to your website?
My wishlist and what I plan to start next year and hopefully finish in 2-3 years. I'm fine with my Daystar lift and Revos for now.
1) Suspension upgrade, not just spacers. I would like to have the extra wheel travel and variable rate as with OME. Giving me 3 - 3.5" lift in the front and 2-2.5" in the back after the fitment of upgraded bumpers. This means shocks and springs, etc (bye bye XREAS). SO it maintains a soft ride on road, handles good and can carry some load.
2) Front bumper with better approach angle, be able to fit light units, and not mess with the airbag sensors. ALso the front must have capability to fit winch later. Rear bumper that can fit swing for spare and highlift. Lance already has these goodies, but a more production ready version would be great. When done with suspension be able to give me the lift specified above, and also fit 33" tires.
3) Better skids for front that work with front bumper and protect the tranny. Front skids that has panels that can be romoves easily for filter and oil changes. Better transfer case protection. Fuel tank protection.
4) Sliders that still can have a step so people can use it as a running board, with fitment for lights to run of the current electrical connections. This way have the functionality of running boards, but the utility and protection of sliders.
5) Eventually lockers, front and back.
I know a long wish list, but I believe these things will become availible for the 4th Gens. It will cost a pretty penny thatwhy I say it will take time to get all of it done (save $$$).

1. Lifts. Concentrate on what's not available and what others don't seem to want to come out with. Your 4" lift, custom " lift and rear-shock relocators are good examples. Anything other or better lift options you can offer the XREAS folks. Something that ditched the XREAS would be acceptable if you could offer a better solution.
2. Lift "Necessities". Everything extra you should really do when you do a lift. For example, upper control arms, pan-hard drop brackets, etc. Offer a "complete" solution for lifting trucks. Be a one-stop shop so I don't have to go to four or five vendors to get a complete solution.
3. Spare Tire Relocator. The first thing people will do after a lift is upsize their tires, maybe adding new rims as well. And they're all stuck with either only going up one size or not being able to fit the spare under the truck. Ideally the new spare would still fit under the truck, but any option other than the cargo area would be good.
4. A decent skid plate. The ideal one would offer maximum protection, but still be easy to remove to do routine maintenance (oil changes). Having to remove a 50 pound skid plat every time you need to change the oil would suck.
5. Sliders. There seem to be some decent offerings from Sonoran(sp?) and Hanna. Hanna's are cool because they are bolt-on, work with XREAS, and seem to have a wrap-around mounting system that is an all-around good compromise. The Sonoran's seem good for the kick-out design, but they have to be welded (although there are those that seem to want weld-ons). Not sure if Sonoran's work with XREAS. Best of both worlds?
6. Front Bumper. The need for this is (a) protection, (b) winch mount, (c) shackle mounts, (d) hi-lift attachment location, (e) possible better clearance/approach angle, (f) possible light attachment locations. The more of these problems you can solve, the better. As ARB is supposidly coming out with a front-bumper, it might not be worth it for you to work on this unless you offer distinct advantages that they don't.
7. Rear Bumper. The need for this is (a) protection, (b) shackle mounts, (c) hi-lift attachment location, (d) spare-tire relocate mount, (e) possible better clearance/departure angle. The more of these problems you can solve, the better. The rear bumper on Good Time's truck looks to be just about ideal. Unfortunately (for the rest of us), it's one-of-a-kind. I noticed that Sonoran's 3rd-gen bumper doesn't include a spare tire relocate mount as he says the frame is not strong enough for it. That would be something to be sure to check out for the 4th gen.
8. Other things you probably won't make, but people will want: (a) winches, (b) lockers, (c) easy way to air up/down, (d) dual optima batteries. There are a ton of others here. Anything you can do to make using things from other manufacturers easier would be good.
9. Tie it all together by offering the highest quality products and you'll quickly move up the food chain of off-road mod makers!
Looking forward to all the new and cool stuff from Nitrous!

Another way to look at it is by clearly identifying the problem you're trying to solve. Actually, this should be done anyway. Examples:
1. I need more clearance. Answer: some kind of lift, tire upgrade, etc.
2. I need a place to store my new huge spare tire. Answer: ???
3. I need a place to store my hi-lift jack.
4. I need to protect the vehicle from trail hazards. Answer: sliders, skids, bumpers, etc.
Just look for problems that need solving.

yup, yup, kickaha, that's an awesome list because we've been working on all those things! our goal is certainly to be a "one stop shop" ... we're just waiting on our business loan to be approved (ditched the one from MT and applied for a new one in CA) and then you all will start seeing all that we've been working on. most of the products have already been through r&d, so expect some great parts.

Suspension lift
I'm new to this list, but I'm looking for advice. I have a 2003 SR5, galactic gray, with BFG A/T 265/70/17. I want to get a bit of a lift, but can't decide what to do. I'm debating between the 3" revtek or the 2" daystar, but I don't want to have to get larger tires right now. I'd like to get the revtek so I can possibly add 285's later when I save up the money. DOes anyone have pictures or opinions of the 3" lift with the smaller 265's? What do you think of the daystar kit? Thanks everyone.

Cory,
do a search for "Lefty 4th gen lift" and "SedonAZ daystar lift" for pictures.
Sedonaz added 285 bfg at's with the Daystar 2.5" lift and it also depends on if you stay with the stock alloys or go aftermarket (aftermarket alloys have less offset so rub more)

Cory,
If you want opinions on these lifts, you may want to post about it elsewhere, or just do a search for "4th gen lifts" because this particular thread is geared toward a specific company and the parts people would like to see us produce.
We already have a lift kit out ... it comes in any size you want for $349. The Daystar kit is a bit cheaper, but has the problem of settling to a height less than the promised 2.5" ... the Revtek kit (which I ran for a long time) is a great kit, but costs a lot more than Daystar and more than our lift kit as well. Do you have XREAS? If so, the Revtek kit would be a waste for you because the majority of the price is due to the longer rear shocks and if you have XREAS, you wouldn't be able to use them anyway.
Check out wheelersoffroad.com and also check out our kit: www.nitrousenterprises.com
I would recommend that you either get one of our kits (which can be custom made for any height/amount of lift you want) or the Revtek kit. I'm partial to NE's lift, of course, and replaced my Revtek lift with the NE lift ... but if for some reason you feel like paying more, Revtek's the answer. I would rank the kits in the following way:
1. our NE lift (because we've developed it to avoid the downfalls of Daystar's settling and Revtek's cost)
2. Revtek
3. Daystar
Look around the forum a bit for pictures of lifted trucks ... there are a lot ... people I can think of off the top of my head with a lift that you might search for:
GoodTimes
Sedonaz
FirstToy
02Runner
me
Fourunnabilly
Biff
Bulldog-yota
Ahriman
SD4Runner
forgive me if I've forgotten any of you guys!!

there's a picture of my truck after I installed the 3" Revtek kit months ago. in that picture, the tires are the stock Michelin 265s, so you can get an idea of how a 3" lift would look with the stock tires.

any other parts you want to add to the wish list?
