I closed the back door of my 4runner 98, and the mechanical handle broke.
Now i can not open the truck neither from inside or outside.
To fix it, i will need to replace the handle, but i cant get to it without opening up the trunk.
Anybody has an idea ?

You can pop the window sill out and pull off the inside panel where you should be able to reach in and open the latch.
