2005 Runner w/ 17" Rims - Brake & Caliper Question
When I ordered the truck I got the 17" Wheels.
But the brakes are only for 16" wheels.
Is that the way it is supposed to be or should I have 17" brakes & calipers?

That is correct. The Sport Edition and the some Limited models have larger brakes. The rest have the standard size brakes. Brake size is not necessarily dependent on brake size. Some of the SR5's came with 17's, but none came with the upgraded (larger) brakes.
