'07 Tacoma - VSC off switch

Toyota announced that the '07 Tacoma will have a VSC off-switch. Is it VSC that controls wheel spin? If so then that's good news from an offroad standpoint.

VSC is more for the stability of the vehicle...the system works w/ the braking system to help mitigate rollover during an evasive manuever.

The switch on the 07 Tacoma has two funtions, trac off and VSC off. If you push the button quickly, it turn off the traction system. If you hold the button for 3 seconds, it diables both trac and VSC. So, since the VSC turns off when in 4H, you have thte option to have trac on or off.

If it is anything like the 4runner then you can press once for trct off and hold for VSC and

tract control off. 4H does not automatically turn off VSC.
