Morerunner/Wolfpack,

Since all three of us are in NC lets hit uwharrie national forest one weekend? PM me and we'll meet up!

Maybe we can find a Toyota mod shop in our area when w eput our heads together too. I think I know a guy in Cary who can install just about anything. But I dont think he has any fab equipment.

Morerunner - couple pics doin' some rather lite roadin' after lift. Haven't had much time since, but I'm headin' for the mountains in August

Rocky - Can't wait to see what you all come out with. The NE home page looks cool

Pics - in the woods along AZ/NM border:

4run4fun, thanks for saying the site looks cool. i just put something together quickly ... that way nothing will leak out until we're ready to go full force with everything.

brian, yes, we should have a site up relatively soon ... i'll have to talk to billy about it, but i know we're getting pictures and everything together and i'll be doing the site soon ... just don't know for sure when the big unveiling will be ...
are you thinking of something specific? i mean, i know we have some of NE's top out spacers available for use with the revtek kit right now ... i'm not sure what else we are offering at the moment, but we're having a meeting soon and will know more then.

Sounds good bdh1213. 4run4fun, thanks for the pics. The sliders look good.
Rocky, a few ideas: bumpers, sliders, skidplates, your own lift, fiberglass fenders. I'm sure you've probabley thought of all these but I thought I'd mention them. A little input on my ideas: I think that tubular bumpers would look great, but I realize that it would be hard to mass produce a tubular bumper since most are fab'd. I personally like the prerunner look with a winch and lights. I also like the idea of a rear tire carrier to make room for things below like oba, extra room for fuel, or more room for better configuration of shocks. Also, something so that we can put longer shocks with XREAS. Just some of my ideas.

adam -- thanks for the suggestions, and we do have a lift kit ... spacers, or coil-overs, or a combo of both. bumpers, sliders, skidplates, fenders, etc ... these have been mentioned and we'll be talking about those things soon ...

there is actually another thread around here somewhere asking for suggestions as far as parts go - anyone can add to it and we'd be grateful!!

i like the idea of a rear tire carrier as well, but GoodTimes has one and says it is incredibly heavy ...

i don't know that we will ever be able to put longer shocks on the xreas ... since the xreas lines attach to the shocks. the one thing we can do is relocate the lower mount to a higher position so as to compensate for what would otherwise be limited travel from a lift.

I saw Good Time's rear bumper. It looks great! Do you think that a tubular rear bumper/tire carrier would be any lighter? I suppose it would depend on how it was made and how much tube, but I think it could be done.

if you're looking for bumpers, I'd say find a local fabber to make one. the shear weight for shipping it will be $$$.

fyi, rear tire carrier add on is just sooo heavy sometimes it's not worth it but it looks good

Yeah they are heavier. I had a tubular one on my 91 pu that wasn't too heavy though. It was really beefy too (trust me I tested it). The shop that made them for me is back in Grand Junction, CO (my home town) though. That's really far from NC to drive or ship. So my search continues for a fab shop here in the SE.

Me too. Don't get me wrong, I like North Carolina, and it is very beautiful in many places, but it is no Colorado! I do look forward to checking out Uwharrie and Tellico here in NC. Then my opinion might change a little.
