03 4runner lift?

I'm looking to do a lift on my 4runner. What is a reasonable lift, 1in, 2in , more? Also, which kits are best? I heard that running 275/70/16 or larger is bad for the trani, true or false?

Thanks....Not sure, prob $500 - $1000. I'm looking for something that will look good and give me some practicality for off-roading. I don't really plan on doing hardcore off-roading but some.... Would spacers seem to be the way to go for me?

That's an excellent thread, loaded with info. Nicley done! Anyway, for the price range you pointed to I recommend the OME. I have been running OME for the last year and like it a lot.
