Nice, I'll check back for the results as I'm going to do this to my runner soon also. The rubber on mine is about 2 1/2 inches away from the bumpstops and rides rough as hell.

Are you going the welded or non-welded route?

Good looking 4runner. Where in Oklahoma are you located? I'm getting ready to do this mod in the next couple of weeks.

If I'm reading 92TOY's thread correctly, he didn't even have to torch anything. Am I right?

I've been halfway looking at this mod myself for my 94 p/u. I don't have a sag issue but I've heard this helps with overall ride. My truck seems like it will just about buck itself off the road when I hit some bumps, would this help?

right. because we got the 5''OD springs to fit over the bumpstops. no torching at all.

if he is doing the cut method, I understand some torching may be necessary to spread the upper bumpstops.

Correct.......just depends on how you want to do your ZUK mod, lots of ways to skin a cat. And yes I thing it will help your ride....sounds like you need shocks also if its bouncing.....

This is the original 22RE in the truck but it has been modified......
Custom valve grind to match custom bump stick...LCE header... cold air induction mod to air box.... K&N air filter....Synthetic Mobil 1 fluids everywhere
Also did some adjustments to the Mass Air Flow Controller...18" glass pack in front of a 60 muffler.....added the glass pack for a little back pressure and to kill the "frag"..... sounds nice and deep and growls at WOT. New Aluminum Radiator, Put in electric fan to gain more HP that the mechanical fan robs from the little 22re. After all the mods I can cruise 65-70 and not have to down shift to 4th gear to pull hills....YEAH!
Probably added a total of 40-50 horses........Still not a dragster but runs real sweet.

Exactly 92.....I got the 2 1/2" x 12" x #120 springs that will go over the rubber snubber and inside the legs of the bump stop.
