Yet another stuck fuel gauge...

Hi all,
I just got back from a trip to the local dez. Prior to departure, I topped off at the local Valero and noticed the the fuel gauge was slow in showing FULL. In fact it still hasn't moved after two days of driving!!!

I've not made any mods to the electrical system or installed anything recently so no screws have been driven thru any wires (yup, I already searched the threads.) I've already checked all the fuses. Nothing out of order there. Its gotta be an intermittant ground somewhere (guessing) but the crappy Haynes manual gives no information on the fuel gauge system... Pemex has never violated my tank in the 2 years I've had my awesome rig.

I don't believe TSB EL010 is applicable to my year (its a 3.0 94 'Runner.)

Anybody have any suggestions? (yeah I already know about the odometer!)

thx!
-shano

[edit - its stuck just below 1/2 full FWIW]

Well, I see you read my last thread...

When it happened in my 92 4Runner, I just beat the crap out of the dash board and it seemed to work, that may not help you though.

You are right in assuming it may be a ground though. Wish I could tell you more.
