Would these pistons change performance over stock?

I'm trying my hardest, but I can't seem to find specs on a stock 22r or 22re piston.

I believe this is what the previous owner put in my motor.

I was told that this was a higher compression motor, but - being that I know very little about motors - I'm not real sure.

Any thoughts?

It appears from the text that these pistons are standard compression ratio,

For my own education purposes - which part say stock?

The 0.070 in deep recess? Or did I miss obvious text like "stock replacement" somewhere...

Thanks!

Near the bottom of the overview text it states OE type. I read this to mean stock compression.

It is just about certain that if compression ratio was different than stock, they would say so and state what difference there is.

Ok - now that I started looking at others for the same motor, I think you're right.

Thanks for pointing out the obvious!

I have bought several NPR piston and ring sets for 22RE off Ebay at good prices. They are good quality parts

You can even find sets that have had the piston tops milled to compensate for block decking.

22RE pistons rise proud of the block deck some, but it cannot be too much.
