Wobbling sound from front suspension.

I have an 88 4runner with ifs and 32" tires. Not long after I put the tires on there is a wobbling sound as if something is loose or has some play in it. The truck is lifted 2 inches in the front using torsion bars and has bilstein struts in the front as well. I upgraded the tire size from the 31" tsl's I had on before and I did purchase a heavy duty steering damper but haven't had the time to install it yet. Any thoughts?

Check out your CVs. If you have hubs, check if the noise occurs when they are unlocked. If you have shift-on-the-fly, see if it makes more sound when you are turning (outer CVs).

if it's a low frequency hum, kinda like tire noise - you've heard in when the mall crawlers pass by on the freeway, that shifts pitch up and down slightly and gets louder with speed, it's probably tire noise caused by the tires being slightly out of round or out of balance, or a bent rim. you can get an oscillation (wobble) in the front end if the camber is not properly set as well, as you can with warped discs, worn steering components.

I think we need a better description than just 'wobbling sound'.
