Okay I picked a pioneer headunit that has GPS, it's the pioneer avic n3, got it all mounted as for the GPS part it is asking me for a speed sensing wire and also a reverse signal wire, don't really have a chilton's with me right now. Was curious if any of you guys might have a link or site to check the color codes and another question where is the ECM mounted on these cars is it on the passenger footwell. The reason it is asking for it so it knows in correlation where the vehicle is, if it's going forward or backwards. It's for a 95 Yota 4runner V6 4wd A/T if that matters for wiring.

 

the ECM is located behind the passenger side kick panel or footwell...
as for the reverse signal wire, you shouldnt need that unless you have a back-up camera...

and i dont know why a GPS needs a speed sensing wire... interesting...

hey man let me know how the install turned out! i just purchased the N1 off a friend of mine and am about to tackle the beast! the only difference is i have a 97 runner...and i have no idea where to start looking for that freakin vss wire. any help/advice/things not to do would be greatly appreciated so this goes as smoothly as possible.
