wire connector

the wire to my knock sensor has no connector ,it is a double wire(braided outside shield-single wire in the middle) how do i put a connector on it. Can i use a regular spade type connector and crimp it or does the braided wire go to a ground? I lost my original connector during the re build and im throwing a cel code 12 help please

BUY A NEW WIRE FROM THE DEALER! They are about $14.

really ill try that they would have the connector so i can splice a new one on.Thanks alot
