Windshield Wiper Switch

The windshield wiper switch needs to be replaced on my 94 pickup. My question is are these interchangable? I have one from a 4runner that has all the options like wiper speed and so on, but the one on my 94pickup does not have any options at all. Will the 4runner switch still work? I dont care if all the options on it work I just want to be able to squirt the windshield with fluid.

The plugs are different. However, its easy to find out if it works without disassmbling the whole column. Just take off the lower dash access panel, unplug the column switch (two plugs, cant remember exactly what color (blue or tan or black)) then plug in your new switch. If it works, Viola! then spend the time switching it out.

I suppose anything is possible, but why go through all the drama? Why not just get the correct one from a wreceking yard the first time? I know we have the correct ones in stock, tested, and at a good price (especially compared to the dealer, YIKES!)

Btw, the 4runner switch will have the rear wiper controls on it, where your truck one will not. That wiring can get messy.

Ha the truck has no options. You just turn the switch for either fast wipers or faster wipers and push the button for some juice and thats all. No tilt or cruise
