Exclamation windsheild trim removal

Right now i am trying to prep the truck for painting. I have everything that i need off but the windsheild trim and i have looked in quite a few places to find out how to take it off but no luck. can someone please tell me how the crome windsheild trim comes off i dont wanna break the clips to get it off.

I just happen to have some here and took some pics real quick .You have to push something flat under the chrome trim and onto the clip and then pull up .

i got the sides off by pushing on the pins and they just poped right out but the bottom one slid out to the right or left and so all i have left is the top. it doesent seem like the top wants to budge and is so tight against the glass it seems like there isnt any pins on it is it just glued or how do i get it out?

originally it had the same clips on top , but maybe some one glued it with the butyle stuff...idk..

well thanks for the help im going to go find some clips now and if theres no clips i guess ill just pull it out.

bad news it seems like theres no clips and the seal is starting to tear idk what to do next all the other pieces came out so easy and the top one is a pain in my rear end. also the windsheild cracked so i guess its time to have a pro do it.

The top peices is a one time use only. Thats what my window guy told me. You need a new one, no way to re-use it. I know. My window trim bearly hangs on, I broke all the clips when taking it off...

I just had my window guy put in a new window and rubber trim, turned out great. I would say lose the trim. Ill post pics soon
