will this work......?

So this is kind of branched off my other thread but im looking for a fast answer. I snapped the hardline on the top of my fuel sending assembly. Could I use a type of rubber fuel line and hose clamp it to the hardline after cutting out the broken spot? Im unsure of how much pressure is created by the pump and if this idea will work. Im having a hard time locating this part new or used. Id rather not order a part online and have to wait for delivery. Thoughts?

Make sure its good reinforces hose and fuel proof.
Maybe put some loom around it to slow the oxidation.
There might be pressure spikes up to 60PSI, Average 35-45PSI otherwise.

It should work fine. Just make sure you get rubber fuel line that is for fuel injection. also you might want to use double hose clamps on each end, just to be sure it doesn't leak.

Yes. It will work. Parts of the fuel system have rubber hose stock. Double clamps is good advice from last post. Again.. get fuel injection rated hose!

Ok new question. I got my hands on another pump assembly... but theres a difference. I got a assembly out of a 90 4runner with a 3.0 and my trucks a 93 with the 3.0, the 90s pump is alot larger and the pump is connected to the wiring with bolts. Mines a clip. Also the connecting clip outside the tank is different. The flanges are the same and the rest of the assembly seems identicle. If I were just to slice my connecter onto the assembly will this work?
