HEy, I have a 1990 4Runner..its a V6,SR5, 4 dr 4x4..with rear mounted spare...Im looking into buying a parts truck, and I think I found one. Its a 92 V6.....are these trucks interchangeable? Im talking engine parts AND body prarts...

My dad pulled some parts off a 1992 4Runner for our old 1990 4Runner, so I imagine they are pretty much the same. The only difference between the two are that 1992's had the new leather seats and stuff put into them (at least thats what I remember from some website I went to once...)

 

The parts should swap back and forth with no problem I think it was 93 when they went to the trapizoid headlamps and even then I'm pretty sure it was just the front clip that got changed bodywise. I have a '94 hilux (truck) and can use any parts from 89-95 (bodywise) mechanically I can even go all the way back to '85 for some stuff.
