im looking at getting a clock but it is from a
1985 4Runner SR5 and i have a
1992 Pickup
will it plug and play?

I think they only work up to 1988 pickups

 

there's a difference between the '84-88 and '89-95

i remember my friend giving me some toyota parts catalog(i can't for the life of me remember the name) a few years back, you could buy the clocks for new. the '89-95 clock was $50 or so, the '84-88 one was like $220

 

they are for sale on ebay all the time. I ended up pay $28 with shipping, kind of rediculous for a clock, and the spot for them is good for mounting an Ipod. Oh well.

 

the catalog you looked at was probably perfomance products. the prices are $215 for the 84-88 truck and $58 for the 89-95 truck and 90-91 4runner. you have a valuable clock, sell it and get the one you need.
