At scrapyard and found a 97 tacoma tailgate. Will it eork on my 95 pickup? Dont care about body lines. Thanks.

 

Will it work maybe some fabrication if it isn't a direct fit. You've got 3rd gen pickup I would try and find one. Tacoma tailgate would look goofy

 

Please stop asking if certain things from a Taco will fit a pre 95. The answer is more than likely NO! Some interior pieces will fit, but that is it. The bodies and frames are different.

 

it will fit if your truck is a 95.5 Taco..

Says the guy who asked if Nissan fender flares would fit on a Toyota. Cut the newb some slack. Also a lot of people put the 1st gen taco fenders and grill on 3rd gens with very slight mods required. So no most of the parts are not a direct fit. But the trucks are very similar in size. So if you can fab and have the time/money to play a little bit. You might have some success.
