Wink Where is the plug to Read codes with The Code Reader

hey

i have no idea where you plug the code reader in a 94 4runner just wondering so i can diagnose some problems

actually you jump a terminel in the diagnois port and you count the check engine blinks..has a built in computer ill look up what ones to cross

no you can do this its so easy man..
get your self like 2 inches of wire... strip both ends

now open your hood.. look to the left above batter where you see diagnois.. flip up the black cap and put your wire in T and E now turn the car over to on but dont start it and count the blinks!

the terminals you jump are actually TE1 and E1 the box is right next to the fuse box probably behind the battery it does say diagnosis on it. There is a drawing of which terminal is which on the inside of the cap. Then put key to on and count the blinks.

They will if your vehicle has OBDII, but that didn't start until 1996.
