Where to get bushings?

So I am doing this swap https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f115...prings-140015/ on my 90 pickup. I'm on a tight budget, and when I went into a local store they quoted me $60 bucks for a bushing kit. That seems like a complete ripoff for a bunch of "rubber." Is there anybody who knows of any place that i could get them cheaper, or for a better deal? Also what's the best way to get the rear springs off the truck. I hate having to cut things off, but if that's the only way then so be it.

Thanks in advance

If you're on a tight budget perhaps you should not start things you can't afford to finish?

Having said that, search online for the bushings. And don't forget to factor in the cost of your time when deciding on the cheapest bushings.

Nothin' wrong with cheap. If you know what you're gettin'.

Having said that, what you're really looking for aren't the ones that are made of "rubber". You want polyurethane. And you should be able to get some for less than $60. Maybe not a lot less...but atleast they won't be "rubber". Which are crapola at any price.

Thanks for the help. I knew that $60 just seemed outrageous. I'll start looking for the polyurethane.

Now the best way i found depending where you live??

Use a zip disc to cut the ubolts

The front spring hanger use a zip disc cut the head and rear of the bolt off .

pry the spring hanger apart enough to get the spring out.

The shackles some times will come apart sometimes need to be cut.

Have all new hardware.
