Where does this wire go?

Just finished washing my car and noticed this wire hanging over the drivers wheel well.
Anybody know where it is supposed to go?

I just checked on my 92 3.0. It appears that the end you are holding needs to be grounded to the inner fender. The only wire I can find on mine that is similar is screwed on the fender directly below the cruise control. The other end of mine appears to be connected to the block.

Mine also has an additional connector comimg out of it. The wire from the connector is hard-wired to something like a resistor or capacitor that is screwed on next to the coil. The other end of THAT goes back into the wiring harness and feeds toward the front of the engine bay (behind the driver's side headlight).
I can see your connector in your photo,, its directly behind the green writing you supplied.

I have one end connected to the fender.(where the green writing was)

I was thinking this end is a perfect fit for the missing bolt on my exhaust crossover (which I have been trying to find the right bolt size for, BTW ).

Regular guy...where does yours ground to the block? The crossover doesnt seem right.

-I just had the HG done and its very possible this was just missed.

From the picture, it looks like my ground that went to the block, not crossover. There was a bolt to the block holding it on. The engine I refer to is a 3.0.

Hi Funk-- Mine has a little bracket/plug -looking thing it attaches to. However, it appears to be just attached to the block below the valve cover on the driver's side. The #4 plug wire is right next to it,, where it comes off the spark plug. The wireloom for the plug wires appears to be held on by the same bolt that holds the bracket/plug for the ground wire.

Gotcha. That makes sense.

I keep finding missing nuts and bolts.

Thanks Regular Guy.
