Where does this hose go???

This is an 87 22r, carbed, 4x4 ext. cab.
The bottom of the hose is connected to the charcoal canister (I think that's what that is).

its just a vent/drain tube for the charcoal canister

Mine for some reason goes into the frame...I have no clue why...but it does.

If the truck runs just fine then leave it alone

It is, in fact, supposed to go into a rubber grommet that mounts in the frame. Not really sure why either. but seems to have some purpose.
