Where do vacuum advance hoses from distributor go?

I put a new Weber carb on my 22R and don’t know where to connect the vacuum hoses from the distributir. There’s one port at the base of the carb and another one somewhere between the carb and head. Also, can those two hoses be reversed? Thanks much

I don't have a Weber on our rig, but perhaps this will help.

Here's how I set mine up, pretty sure it's right for most weber installs. You cap one of the ports on the distributor, I think it matters which one. Also, I ended up using different sizes of tube with an adapter since the ports on dist and carb seemed slightly different in size. Pretty sure that part doesn't matter.
