where to buy clutch
I'm about to dig into replacing the clutch on my 92 v6 truck, and would like some help to start out.
ideally, i would like to find a cheap deal to buy an OEM clutch kit online. other than that, im looking for a place to buy a QUALITY clutch (money isnt too big a deal here, i just want an OEM quality part). can anyone point me in the right direction on where to buy these parts? i dont want to end up with a duralast clutch kit...

I've been looking for a similar thing. Here is what I've been able to find out so far:
www.trial-gear.com sells Aisin/ASCO clutches. I would call them first to confirm.
marlincrawler.com apparently sells similar items but has done some mix and match with the pressure plates (more pressure than stock)
There are a bunch of ebay outfits selling clutches. So far I'm not convinced they are selling the OEM clutch. Looking at some of the photos, the marking for the ones they are selling for the V6 indicate "valeo" (European) or SECO (Korean). I want Japanese stuff this time around. You'll find some ebay sales for ASCO clutches for Toyota trucks, but I have not seen one yet for the V6 - just the 4s.
One other thing you might try is northridge Toyota. He won't send to Canada, but if you are in the USA you should get a price from him for real oem.
