My plan... We'll see how it goes, is get the whole drivetrain out of my wrote-off 88 4runner (22re / auto) and get em into the 87 4runner (22re - burns more oil than gas / 5spd). And be driving it to work tuesday...

May be a bit ambitious, guess we'll see where we sit on sunday decide if I'm swapping the transmission this weekend, or just the engine...

And of course now it's forcasting snow/rain all weekend - Time to dig out the tarps!
you can do it. just convince your friends how much fun they are missing out on. i will take your rain and snow, if you take my heat and humidity good luck

LOL... Nice thread!!! Yup, well I will be spraying my last coat on, installing the cheapo hella knock offs I bought from Advance auto parts for $20, installing a kill switch, reinstalling all my seats and carpet, wetsanding & buffing the final coat and trying to make it to the Schutzhund regionals in Parker w/out missing anything so I don't get kicked out of my club. Oh and continue my mission of "finding the perfect tire for the perfect price". Oh and posting pics of course hahaha....

Bake some biscuits [thanks again BT17R]...
At some point have a dinner with a bottle (or two) of wine to myself [sanity preservation]
Study for an exam
Go to work if called in...

Pretty normal weekend really...

why did you take out the carpet and seats? I am looking for tires again. my deal fell thru, but that is another thread. i looked at the General Grabber AT2 i think it was, for 90 bucks. nice looking tread pattern. take some pic of the rockies for me i do miss them!!!! good luck on painting, i know you are ready to be done.

I'm replacing the stater on my dad's FJ80.......and I just finished cleaning my wheels. I'm gonna organize all the junk I carry around too.

I have a 37 Ton Log Splitter so unlike at camp I have the hydraulics working for me , I have child labor camp going too hehe , my son and 2 of his friends are going to be laborers for the woodsplitting and I will be pulling the lever on the splitter .
As for the caulking ....well not so bad , just time consuming , at least I just have a little rancher with 11 windows , all I need is my 8' Ladder and some patience .
I too have spent many many hours wielding a caulk gun with caulks & adhesives of many types , although I don't hate that as much as painting I would still rather be fishing .
Thanks for the offer though

the whole thing, the bendix is stuck......it's goin nuts. The battery is disconnected right now, but if you put it back on it tries to start without the key even in the ignition.
