Throwing my hat in...

This is my '88 5speed 3VZE. She has 245,000 and counting. Ive had this one as my daily driver for 17 yrs. and had a '87 22RE 5 speed before that (rolled). If it wasn't for the reliability and low cost of ownership of this vehicle, I wouldn't have any of my other toys.

Still have a pair of bumpers and a soft top to install. Then body work and paint....

How it is now. I did have a great bikini top on it but everytime I went somewhere it freaking rained on me so I sold it and put the hard top back on. I like it like this better.

Yes I know this isn't the nicest 4runner out there but it's the nicest one I've owned so far.
Definitely one of my favorite 4runners! Nice work junkers!

Those are some slick seatcovers! Where might one obtain a set of those bad boys?

Thanks Jerry. It's been a fun build. I've picked up a lot of info here on YT, as well as other forums. I'm really trying to do every mod and repair the right way the first time. Hopefully others will learn as much from my experience as I have from theirs.

and after a summer of hard work and detail work inside and out, it looks like this....immaculate inside and out.....needs the 3vze torn down and rebuilt....would actually love to put a 22re in it...we will see....for now it's a garage dweller...about 10 miles on it since we bought it a year ago.

Last two here.... super nice!!!! But I have to say, if that super rig
with the shower attachment, from Australia is a 86 to 89, then my vote
will allways go for that one...
