That one (I think) goes to one of the 3 VSVs mounted on the PS wheelwell. Check the link, it might help.

OK now I feel stupid... That tube goes to where it says it goes in the scamatic. trouble is I had some tube backwards but I fixed it. Basically the VCV for the EGR was going to the charcoal canister not to the vac source. So I incorrectly assumed that the EGR valve was blown when in fact it's VCV wasn't getting vac, so I disconnected the EGR valve. I've since reconnected it.
Here is the problem. Look at the scamatic. You'll see that the charc canister has a tube that goes to the TVV for EVAP (what in the world is that!) UNDER the pelum. I wiggled my fingers all over that $%^&* and can't find it!
SOMEONE HELP!

Anyone knoew where the TVV for EVAP is? If you look at the scamatic in the second post you'll see it located below the pelum, but I couldn't find it. It's the tube that goes to the charc canister.

In the 1991 4Runner 3.0 that I bought a month ago I don't have any wires going to my EGR either, buy my 94 does have a wire going into the EGR. Is it normal for there to not be a wire going into the EGR valve for the older 3.0s?

Once the EGR starts to stick your gas milage plumets. Disconnecting the EGR saves a little of that lost MPG.
That said does anyone know where the TVV for EVAP is noted on this scamatic somewhere under the plenum... I can't find it!

ok... I found the TVV for EVAP located under the plenum. Turns out that the nipple to take a tube to the charc. canister is broken off. Is there any performance detriment from not having the EVAP properly installed?
