What starter? 4.3 with AA bellhousing

I have a 01 4.3 vortec in a 94 pickup, using a Advanced Adapters bellhousing adpater with the toy 5spd. I was wondering what starter I should use? The truck was built by a previous owner, he had what looked like a reg. chevy starter that had been ground to fit inside the bellhousing.(the nose broke off the starter) I had a old starter lying around and switched the nose off of it. Ground down a little and it still doesnt fit. I really dont fell comfortable grinding much more.

So what starter are you using? (those of you with the same swap)

You look over on Pirate and search. They have some good info on this. Most of those guys use a mini starter.
