What size is this bolt?

I lost the link to the earlier thread i started on this so im sorry for asking again. The bolt that holds the tranny dipstick tube to the exhuast manifold? What size is it? One guy told me 6 or 8 mm x 1.25 pitch???? Which of these is it, I can't remember? Thanks guys!

No idea, but you can always buy a 6 and an 8 mm and see which one fits. Shouldn't cost more than 25c each.

No, Probally a buck or two, they really rape you on metric bolts, @ Lowes anyway.........About a month ago I needed four bolts so could mount a 22re to an engine stand I think they were 4 inches or something, I cand remember the shank diameter but they cost me like 6 bucks a piece OUCH!!! But what are you gonna do when you have to have them? Sucks.

Just an update............its a 6mm, NOT an 8mm, however the 12mm wrench was correct!!!!

That's the advantage of living in a country that uses the metric system, metric fasteners are cheap and easy to find.
