What locker is in my 7.5 IFS???

Hi all!!

I recently bought an IFS differential with a locker installed.

Guy I got it from, said he was told by the previous owner that it was a Truetrac, but it does'nt look like the Truetrac images I can find.

Maybe its a regular Detroit?

Only thing I can see on it are some vibro-pen markings: 51240 (or maybe 51243) and 20M04

Here are a couple pics,, What is it???

How does it behave? If it's a TrueTrac it will differentiate smoothly with no clicking, although it will typically have enough preload to make it hard to turn by hand.

With long scewdrivers thru the bolts on the axle stubs and some effort, I can get the axles to turn counter to each other. I can hear no racheting noise. Maybe it is a Truetrac.

That sounds about like how I would expect a Truetrac to behave. The Truetrac is a fully enclosed case like you have, but I don't remember the 8" one for the rear having the cutout with the threaded hole. That may be unique to the 7.5".
