what to lift

i want to lift my 94 4runner. i talked yo some guys on here about a body lift and its just to mich work to do. is there an easy way to lift the truck with just rear coil spacers or longer springs for the back and some sort of spacer for the front. i read some things about bj spacers and ball joint lifts. how are those and how much would it all be. this would just be for looks and once and a while off road.

Search for second gen lift guide and you should find anything you need to know about lifting a 94.

body lift is cheaper and easyier toinstall then fron bj or balljoint spacers.. the rear yeah a coil spacer is the cheapest.. but you can fit 31s or 32s stock... so if you ust want a lift id just do a body lift... put 33s and call it a day!
bodylift is about 120 bucks ,,, thats how much just the bj spacers are... coil spring spacer are another hundred say

Are you trying to 'level' your truck or do you really want a lift?

Yea that's what I was thinking of, I couldn't think of what to call it and didn't have the time to go search for it myself.

when i bought my old 90 4runner it had a 3" BL on it at it was an auto, and when i got my 87 4Runner automatic it had a 3" BL on it as well. The kit just includes drop brackets for the shift linkage.

Not hard at all, hardest part is loosening the old body mount bolts, espicaly if you live in the rust belt. New bushings wouldn't be a bad idea while your there anyway.

Not really time consuming, I took one off my 87 in about 2 Hours....bolts were a pain. I put a 2" on my 79 Pickup in under a hour.

Kit probably comes with bolts, if not...hardware store and $10 will get ya what you need. (Grade 8 o course)

Kit comes with bumper brackets for the front, rear bumper is already attached to the body.
