finally got completely fed up with my rear brakes, they got to the point that the stopped working completely so i started gathering parts



all I'm waiting for is my buddy to finish machining the disc's then i will install them

Are you doing 4 wheel disk? I have an 89 and I would like to do that to mine, if so, whats the cost you got into that, and how much time involved?

i spent about 6-8 hours doind it but that is because i took my time and took lots of pics and i have just under 300 into them

Is it just a matter of exchanging drums for discs, shoes for pads and such? Sounds like something I'd like to do.

its alittle more complicated then that

you need to change the proportioning valve and the master cylinder as well

almost forgot

the bottom of my tail gate rotted out and i couldnt find a good deal on a new one so i converted to a pickup style gate

thanks heath for the gate





i think im going to mod my cage and redo my rear bumper so i can clearance the quarters, and while i am doing it do a small bob, like 9.5in

well i sold off a couple things and then got my taxes back (that i forgot about) so 30 spline longs to be ordered tomorrow

also

just ordered a pair of marlins inner axle seals
