What do you think?

I have already accepted the fact that my input shaft bearing on my R150 tranny is going bad..its the dreaded whine. I hate to have to pull the heavy thing down, but I am pretty mechanically inclined..Imean I did swap in a V6 from a 22re...have lifted/painted my own truck...So here is my question..Would it be possible for me to replace the input shaft bearing myself?...I would have to use a press to get the bearing on and off....but I have access to a hydraulic press at work....I have looked at the exploded diagrams on the FSM and it doesn't seem to bad...just tedious.
