ghost leak

the other day i came out of my house and noticed a BIG puddle of coolant under the truck...looking for where its leaking from...it looks like its coming from the center of somewhere where the belt pullies come out of the block...its dripping from the oil pan/ steering stabalizer...heres the catch,it only leaks (starting about 15 seconds after the car is tuned off) and it leaks for about 20-25 min.

anyone know what this could be??

it is a 1994 4runner, sas'd, and it is the japanese import model

Sounds like it is in the area of the water pump to me.

i had a similar problem there is a small coolant hose around the front of the intake that dry rotted and had a little hole in it and the coolant was runing down the engine and it was a pain to actually see but it fixed the problem

lower radiator hose- under suction when the engine is running, exposed to full cooling system pressure when the engine is off.

same thing happened to me, i just replaced the waterpump gasket and whatnot when i did my timing chain and it stopped. I still have a little coolant drip to once and awhile that i have to fix still.
