what is it?

1991, V6, pickup

Right in front, near the top, of the motor there is a spot where the coolant either goes in or comes out of the motor. Two bolts connect the part from the radiator side to the part that is connected to the motor.........what is this called? I need to get a gasket for it.

You're talking about where the upper hose attaches and goes through the timing cover right?

This one:

pic stolen from here

If yes, then there is no seal. Go to Toyota and get some FIPG.
