So excuse me if I get some thing's wrong. I'm new to the automatic transmission. I've got an 86 extra cab auto 4x4 I've recently acquired and it's got I think an a340h in it? Not sure but it does have the ECT and I was at a stop sign decided to hit the PWR button to see if it made much difference. Well when I pushed the button the truck shut off. Had a heck of a time starting it back up and then to realize I have no fuel gauge no temp no turn signals and when I put it in drive it's in 3rd gear unless I manually put it down into 1st. I've checked fuses and tried to "reset" the truck unhooking the battery and such. Just a little thrown off. Any help would be huge help. Thanks.
